Build and deploy surveys in minutes.
At the base of Surveyor are surveys, be they a single question (poll) or hundreds of conditional questions. These surveys are defined in our online and intuitive survey editor. You have the comprehensive options including: organizing these surveys by project and assigning the surveys to select devices, users, and locations.
Once these surveys are built, deployment can be as easy as starting the application on the devices.
Collect results in any environment, with or without internet.
Surveyor is not only a survey tool for the web, it is a survey tool for mobile devices with an internet portion!
Surveyor deploys on both the Apple iPod Touch and iPhone platforms (each with their own perks) and can be used online and offline.
If online, the data will instantly stream back to the server and will be immediately available.
If offline, the data will be stored locally and then beamed back to the server once the device is back online. Backing up your device in iTunes also backs up Surveyor data.
Customizable help - related to the question.
Every survey question is open to clarification. Surveyor has the ability to provide per question help, thus encoding your clarifications right into the survey itself. Questions are often skipped due to lack of information, this feature will help ensure a high survey completion rate.
See your results in real-time.
With real-time data collection comes real-time results. Surveyor will automatically push new results to your web-browser as they stream in. All collected results can be viewed, summarized, and reported.
Record the location of the survey responses.
iPod Touches*, iPhones, and the web all have the capability to collect the location of the survey collection. This feature is optional and settable on a per survey basis but is available at no-extra charge.
Data analysis based on geo-coordinates is also available; see your results by postal code collected or isolate where your response rate is highest.

Simple interface on an engaging device.
iPod Touches and iPhones are pretty. Surveyor is pretty. People find pretty things alluring. People will find your survey alluring.
Enough said.
Control and monitor your research team members or sites from a single location.
For larger deployments, Surveyor includes team management features as well as the ability to run analysis on each member or site to which you've deployed the tool.
In research, work-hours cost more than the tools, and now you can quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of your research team.
Data backups every 5 minutes on secured servers.
Once your data is sent to the servers it is backed up in five-minute intervals!
The servers are in a secured facility within Canada.
Configure each device to perform how you need it to.
Surveyor supports a number of different survey delegation options.
You can assign a device to access all of your surveys. This is effective if you have a few devices in known locations and do not foresee any security issues with survey access.
You can also assign a device to a specific user and control which surveys the device will access by granting/removing access to the survey from that user. Device assignment also allows you to track the results per user; giving an extra metric to help analyze your team.
Lastly, you can assign a device to require a user to log into it. This is great for larger rollouts that have multiple users and don't want to spend time tracking device assignments. This method is also great in environments such as restaurants where a team of servers may share only a select few devices and you would like to link the survey responses back to the server whom collected them!
Export data to other software packages.
Surveyor can collect data, produce reports, and export that data to file. Surveyor's reporting functionality should meet a majority of the needs of its user base. Other users might require more detailed data-mining so the system exports your data in a variety of common formats.
No paper means more trees.
Digital data collection not only rids the costly step of data entry from paper surveys, it saves the use of paper all together. Less paper, more trees.
Apple iPod Touches and iPhones are also considered "green" devices so end-to-end your research will be environmentally friendly.
Low overheads, Low cost.
Reduction of data entry, cheap accessible devices. Surveyor is built for use by everybody so it needs to be accessible to everyone.
